SkillsUSA Council proudly hosted its fifth annual “District 11 Signing Day,” celebrating approximately 100 graduating students who have secured full-time positions in their trades, committed to post-secondary education in related fields, or enlisted in the Military. Modeled after athletic scholarship signing events, this program highlights the achievements of CTE students as they embark on their professional journeys.

During the event, we heard from Jaden Barasch, an LCTI student, who shared how SkillsUSA has enriched their Career and Technical Education experience and expanded opportunities for career exploration. In addition to the students being recognized, nearly 300 attendees—including industry leaders, post-secondary and military representatives, legislators, and proud parents—gathered to celebrate. The event underscored the vital role Career and Technical Education plays in shaping a skilled workforce in the Greater Lehigh Valley.
