This year 15 students from District 11 SkillsUSA headed to Atlanta, GA, for the annual National Leadership & Skills Conference (NLSC), a showcase of career and technical education students and an opportunity to compete for a gold medal on the national stage. The 2024 NLSC was a memorable event and four student brought medals.

This event brings together more than 16,500 attendees, including students, instructors, industry partners, government officials, administrators and more. The highlight of the NLSC is the SkillsUSA Championships, where more than 6,500 state champions compete for national gold, silver and bronze medals in 114 skilled and leadership competitions.
