		October 1, 2009 - Annual Meeting & Leadership By Example Award Breakfast Held at The Best Western Lehigh Valley Hotel and Conference Center Presentation of the Leadership By Example Award to a local individual who has made a significant contribution to career and technical education. Students attend, speak, and network with Council members.

		October 28, 2009 - Ambassador Training Held at Split Rock Resort One-day training that instructs students in public speaking, communication, and social etiqutte skills to prepare them to represent the Council and thier schools throughout the year.

		October 29-30, 2009 - Fall Professional Development Conference Held at Split Rock Conference Two-day training for over 200 students who learn valuable employability and communication skills, problem solving techniques, and dining etiquette. Students also have the opportunity to meet professionals in their field to learn more about their career options

		February 3, 2010 - District 11 SkillsUSA Championships Held at the Agri~Plex, Best Western, and Scattered Sites More than 400 students compete in over 50 differenct contest for the opportuity to advance to the state and national level competition

		March 9, 2010 - SkillsUSA Culinary Challenge Please join us at our 1st Annual Culinary Challenge on March 9th at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute. Students will compete along side some of the top chefs in the Valley for the opportunity to be named the SkillsUSA Council’s top student/chef. 		May 27, 2010 - Elmer Gates Enterprise Awards Held at Best Western Conference Center Awards given to 38 exceptional students for their scholastic achievement, invovlement in student organizations, leadership ability, community involvement, and entrepreneurial spirit.

		June 18, 2010 - Breakfast of Champions Held at Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. Students are recognized and prepared to represent the Lehigh Valley at the National Conference.

		June 21-25, 2010 - National Leadership and Skills Conference Held in Kansas City, Missouri Showcase for the best career and technical students in the nation. Contest begin locally and continue through the state and national levels.
